Tom Price is a British sculptor who lives and works in London.

Price's sculpted heads and figures are constructed from an emotional context, with their physical attributes appropriated from various sources, both imagined and from the real world. The sculptures' scale and high level of detail places them under the close scrutiny of the viewer, which slowly reveals the qualities that remove them from their seemingly classical context.

The video works progressively explore the way in which the head and face can be used to construct and reveal character by utilising the techniques of stop-motion animation and the visual language of portraiture.
